About two year ago I started to use Pandora. Since then its become my primary means of listening to music via the Pandora App, sorry Apple but your won't be getting $1.29 per song from me.
Since my usage is increasing I wanted to know how much data Pandoara uses, see the results below.
(Avg for one hour with High Quality Audio On)

Most smartphone plans allow 2 GB data plan, some have 5 GB-either way using Pandora shouldn't cause you to go over your plan. But to be safe you should note how many hours you listen to Pandora. Listening to 32 and 1/2 hours of Pandora will use 1 GB of data.
1024 MB equals 1 GB

Whether you buy a silver or a gold "Pandora bracelet", you will surely make heads turn because of the beauty of Pandora bracelets. They are also pretty affordable, not to mention chic and stylish, too.
actually not everyone is limited to 2gb or 5gb i have verizon and my unlimited is fully unlimited i listen to pandora almost 24/7 and watch movies and use about 10-15 gb a month depending on what im doing and never worry about going over.
Keith, you're full of BS. Verizon does not have unlimited. Sprint is the only company with true unlimited.
Actually spydie, we have an iPad on Verizon that was set up when they did indeed have unlimited usage and we could download every movie ever produced 24-hours a day and not go over our limit because we don't have a limit. I'll bet that Keith has the same plan.
Touchdowntech.com just went from AT&T to Verizon and missed the unlimited window that closed in August (if memory serves right). I'm on a 2GB plan now and if I'm careful I should be fine. However I'm being very sure to switch to wifi when available.
Many thanks for this brilliant post! Many points have extremely useful. Hopefully you'll continue sharing your knowledge around.

Spydie you're an idiot. Whoever had unlimited data on Verizon before they switched it to 2 gb for 30 dollars got grandfathered in, and unless they change their plan, they will keep unlimited data for as long as they want.
I have had Verizon for 8 years now. In 2007 they offered the unlimited data text and free nights and weekends. But that was when the average data usage was probably under a gb due to web browsing, email and so forth. I still have unlimited and use around 6 to 8 gb per month. My bill has never changed. And you better believe I'm never gonna change my plan. Anyway on the Droid Razr on high quality Pandora 's data usage is around one third gig for eight hours.
I have unlimited data with Verizon
